Rise of the SUV models
Now, booming SUV segment despite the crisis in the car industry, the French brand leverages the pull of the Captur, small urban SUV manufactured in Valladolid, to launch a new model in the range Renault Scenic fitted with a clear personality SUV in its design and provided, instead of all-wheel drive, a system called “Extended Grip”, an evolved control traction with the XMOD can move in low grip conditions with greater assurance as to motor.
It does accompanied by some M + S tires developed by Continental to achieve high rate of discharge of the grooves of your drawing to allow further progress in areas of mud, snow or sand.
Three modes of assistance
The system is activated manually via a knob on the center console, which lets you choose between three different modes of assistance. In “expert” mode, the device manages the braking system just leaving the driver full control of the management of motor response. Mode “standard” functions as a conventional anti skid system automatically connects to exceed 40 km/h. And so “slippery floor” optimizes control of braking and engine torque according to the grip conditions.
This new Renault Scenic comes with several engines, from 115 hp to 130 hp and the prices range from 21,150 euros cheaper model up to 26,550 euros more complete.
