It is an engine of 1.6 liter turbocharged petrol engine that yields 165 horsepower and maximum torque of 240 Nm at its most flattering RPM range. It replaces the previous 156 hp turbocharged 1.6 so this new engine becomes the most powerful of the range. Registers a very interesting data consumption of just 5.6 liters per 100 kilometers, thanks, among other things, the incorporation of a stop-start system. CO2 emissions have also been reduced from the previous block, now recording a figure of 129 g CO2 / km. You are not exempt, therefore, to pay the tax. The new THP 165 engine is ready to meet future antipollution regulations that strangles us, the Euro 6 .
This engine block has already been used in other models of the PSA group like the Peugeot 308, 3008, 5008, RCZ and soon in the new Peugeot 508, so its reliability is proven enough and this is exactly the same engine . It comes, as we have said before, to replace the previous block of 156 hp 1.6.
