A couple of days had been informed of the spy photos of future Mini Paceman and apparently, the road tests of the brand have only just begun.
The next MINI Cooper has been caught in testing a circuit in an undisclosed area of Germany where it could be seen quite revealing details about the new model released by the code name F56.
In these images you see a new grille and headlights of the next generation of the MINI, which shares its platform with the next BMW 1 Series. You can clearly see a longer wheelbase and a steeper slope on the hood compared to The MINI Cooper today.
The style of the headlights seems to follow the trend of the Countryman, with a more rounded, while the grille is more upright but still faithful to the current design trends of the brand.
The front bumper looks more aggressive, and the back should have similar treatment under all the camouflage, so you infer that the tendency of the models (even the basics) of the brand will approach the sport.
The new car also gets a neat waist, while extensions of traditional plastic wheel arches, black roof pillars and the floating roof are all retained.
The new MINI will be wider than the current car, which will create not only more interior space, but also improve stability (thanks in part to the longer wheelbase), so you can expect a better grip on the road that the model currently marketed.
