Volkswagen Golf Bluemotion Technology Test
The Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI Bluemotion comes as consumes less fuel version of the range Golf. Appeared in the middle of last year and approves a consumption 3.8 litres/100 km. Thanks to some changes in the management of the engine and Start & Stop system. The unity of this test is a Golf Bluemotion Technology, which is identical to the Golf Bluemotion, but without the aerodynamic modifications. It is cheaper but also consumes 0.3 liters/100 km, i.e. 4.1 litres/100 km homologous.
The Golf of the test equip the 1.6 TDI engine from 105 hp replaced the 110 hp 2.0 TDI that sold nothing in this car. Design and body
Little can be said about this the Volkswagen Golf VI not already know. It is an evolution of the model that appeared in 2003, but according to VW is like a new car. It keeps intact the qualities that have made this model a best seller: great sense of interior quality, breadth and overall ride quality. This version includes a discrete 15-inch wheels that you feel very good, both for aesthetic as dynamic, taking into account the approach of the model. Externally, there is nothing to distinguish it from other versions just average range, except for some small decorative details
The Golf interior is as inviting as ever. They breathe through and through quality and finish are good. It has very nice details, such as opening the glovebox damper, rubber coated storage compartments, etc. There are two types of seats, the normal version “Advance” and the sports version “Sport”. The latter are firmer and hold up better over the miles, they can have separate lumbar adjustment . The basic version of the Advance are also good, although as I said, a little soft. The biggest drawback is that the seats is somewhat outside of the neck and can not rule (in principle is less safe in an accident that one adjustable). On the other hand, are fine.
The interior is very good but is somewhat presence restrained
The rear seats are also very good, with room for the head and feet even for large sizes. As usual, two are better than three, since the square is half way back hard and apart the center console of the front seats is longer than the countdown. The backrest can be folded in parts and has a “tunnel” to pass long objects into the cabin trunk without disabling side seats.
